Eastpak Global Warranty Terms

 

Eastpak branded products covered by this warranty are warranted to the original owner against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

This warranty applies to Eastpak branded equipment only.  If your product covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair it without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. Only unaltered and unmodified items and original workmanship are covered. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use.

HOW TO START A WARRANTY CLAIM:

You purchased your item through us.eastpak.com:

  • Your item is younger than 30 days:

Please contact us_customer_care@eastpak.com if you purchased through us.eastpak.com

  • Your item was purchased longer than 30 days ago:
    • Step 1: Download the Warranty coverage document and Pricelist to see what is covered by our global warranty policy
    • Step 2: Download the Repair form, print, fill in and mark the defects
    • Step 3: Send your bag to the address provided on the form, including the completed repair form and a proof of purchase/receipt. The production date on the inside care label will be used in case you no longer have your receipt.

WARRANTY FAQ

How do I know what’s covered by warranty?

The warranty period of your item can be found on the internal care label. If no warranty period is visible on the label, the legal warranty term will be applied.

At the top of this page, you’ll find a PDF file with pictures showing which defects are covered and which aren’t.

What is Not Covered?

The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse (such as transportation of unusual items), neglect, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvent acids, water, normal wear and tear or transport damage (by airlines, for example).

Who Pays for Shipping Costs?

All shipping to Warranty must be pre-paid and insured. Eastpak will not be liable for lost inbound packages. Products repaired or replaced under warranty will be shipped back to you free of charge.
